Irene Mabel Widga, born July 28 1917 on a Polk County farm, died August 31 1976 at Bryan Memorial Hospital Lincoln Nebraska. She married Clifford K Carlson March 25 1937 and later W idga September 20. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Osceola Hospital and was active in United Methodist and Legion Auxiliary circles. Survived by husband Lyle daughter Bernie two grandchildren sister Marjorie and Lloyd Lind. Funeral at Swede Plain United Methodist Church conducted by Rev Robert Holbrook with hymns Under His Wing and Precious Lord Take My Hand.
