The Village Board met in regular session at the Fire Hall at 8 00 PM with all members present. Minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved. The Light and Water Commissioner and Treasurer reports were read and approved. A motion authorized payment of six dollars per month for care of safety school signs.
A concert hosted by the Missionary Society at Calvary Lutheran Church Swede Home on Sunday October 26 at 8:00 p.m. proceeds go to the Camp Fund. A trio will perform and attendance is welcome.
Rev and Mrs Edick Anderson return from a western tour visiting Denver Yampa Albany Hanford and Canon City. They note good weather and recall church milestones including the 60th anniversary dedication. Local events include Royal Neighbor lodge hosting and plans for a Hard Times party on October 28.
