Mrs. Hannah A. Fightmaster 81, widow of Warren Fightmaster, died at York General Hospital after years of poor health. Funeral held Friday at Metz Chapel York. she left a daughter Myrna Skaden and three grandchildren. The second dam on Upper Clear Creek will control flood water from 2600 acres and is the largest in Polk County with 37000 yards of earth fill. View the structure Sunday afternoon Oct 26 from 2 to 4 pm at farmer Philip Kaczor’s farm west of Osceola. Supervisors and SCS personnel will explain operations.
