The Union Pacific Agriculture Improvement Car will visit Osceola on Tuesday October 13 with three sessions from 9 00 to 11 55 1 30 to 4 00 and 7 30 to 9 30 featuring three discussions and three Union Pacific films. Cubs Fall to Clarks 39 0 in Tough League Loss
Polk Cubs dropped their fourth game to Clarks 39 to 0 after injuries hobbled Polk in the second period. Reuben Ehn’s car stolen Saturday night in Stromsburg
The vehicle owned by Reuben Pete Ehn vanished while parked on Stromsburg streets Saturday night. It reappeared Sunday morning on the town’s east edge, with groceries and a flashlight left inside. a speedometer suggested about 200 miles driven. No injuries were reported.

Polk Commercial Club plans to welcome the Sowers Club of Lincoln on October 14 with a high school band and possible early dismissal. If kept in cribs up to 9 feet wide with 20.6 percent moisture, corn may seal. moisture reduces by one percent per extra foot. Loans likely from harvest through May 31, 1954, maturing July 31, 1964.
