She married Darrel Miller February 9 1963 in Polk Evangelical Free Church and had son Douglas Paul born April 30 1969. She lived in Richmond Virginia and Lawrence Kansas and was active in First United Methodist Church and Meals on Wheels with family and community service. Survivors include her husband Douglas her parents Harold and Marie Carlson and siblings with many relatives. Services were held October 2 1976 at the Evangelical Free Church in Polk with interment in Polk Cemetery.
