Polk rolls to a 31 to 0 victory over Shelton in a Friday night game. Gaylen Holmes scores twice on a 20 yard run and a 3 yard plunge. Bob Peterson adds 6 points with a 15 yard run. The kindergarten has finished a unit on The Family and begins The Home in Reading Readiness. The first grade completes a Pets booklet featuring free hand drawings and cut-from-magazine images.
Seventh and Eighth Grades Photo Week and Class Projects

Pep Club elects officers and plans new stand

Beanies will be bought and a new Pep Club stand is being built at the athletic field.

Mrs Martin Hoffman Jr opened her home Wednesday afternoon for the Faithful Workers Club September meeting. Members received a program card from leader Mrs Lawrence Larson reading Come dressed as you were when this card was received. Prizes went to Mrs Estor Lackey for best dressed and Mrs Ella Cramerov for wearing the most patches. Mrs Clifford Carlson prevented a prize to Mrs Walter Hoffman for the most articles in her purse.
