Conservation plan for 1966 outlined in Osceloa meeting
A group of farmers, community leaders and conservation experts in Osceloa on November 19 developed 1966 ACP practices to conserve soil, water, woodland and wildlife. The plan covers erosion control, vegetative cover, terraces, ponds, grassed waterways, tree planting and wildlife habitat with cost-sharing by the USDA ASC through farmer-elected committees.
