Faithful Workers Meet Plans Luncheon and Exchange
The Faithful Workers club gathered Monday November 22 at Mrs Florence Hoffmans home with twelve members present. Theresa Van Ostrand presided and a 1 p.m. luncheon was planned for December 16 at the Corner Cafe. The next meeting will be at Mrs Lyle Widgas home with a candy and gift exchange. Esther Larson led the program. Marie and Erma Hoffmann served lunch.

Accident Claims Life of Mrs Paul Meline
A two car crash on November 14 in Byron Illinois killed 53 year old Mrs. Paul Meline. Her husband Paul Meline was injured with cuts bruises a mild brain concussion and internal injuries. Survived by five children and other relatives, service held in Polk with family traveling from Polk Grand Island and Byron.
