Sunday Dinner Guests Share Local Family Hospitality
The Polk Community hosts a series of Sunday and Saturday visits at multiple homes. Guests include the Carl Carlistrom family with Burdette Bennett and family from Lincoln, Walter Carlstrom and John from Fremont, and Hannah Carlson with Dennis Morris. Geneva Beckman and Kathy Williams from Denver stayed for the Hanquist Reckner wedding and returned home Sunday morning. Additional brief visits came from Ray Guilford of Central City to Art Adelson, and Los Adelson family hosted Willard Adelson. Burdette Jones and Lynn Churchill of Lincoln joined Glen Brazda family guests, while Paul Bender of Clarks and Duane Haton with Rex of Central City visited Melvin Bender.

Baptist Mission Circle Meets In Church
The Baptist Mission Circle met in the church parlors on Thursday November 10 with devotions led by Mrs Ivan Johnson after the business meeting. Mrs Wayne Creech sang Dont Stop Praying and Mrs Wallace Sandell presented a program on Bible editions and Bible Society materials. Lunch was served by four members.

The sunrise to sunset shooting rule covers deer within half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset. Wilson's snipe rails and gallinules hunt from sunrise to sunset. Other game may be taken from half an hour before sunrise to sunset. For areas due north or south of Grand Island, add one minute for every 13 miles west and subtract one minute for every 13 miles east.
