Polking Around and Town Tales From Polk Nebr
A feature from Polk Nebraska covers local curiosities about a Zip Code ad misaddressed to 2200 Elm St Polk, Neb and the mystery of nearby Elm Streets. It recalls family names Jones Hillis and Oscar Jones and remembers Sam Jones and a peanut patch anecdote. The column shares a prison forum story, Thanksgiving scenes with kindergarteners, and reflections on teaching and child psychology with a playful, memory‑dense tone.
