Corn Show Dates Set for Lincoln Neb Shows

Lincoln Nebraska will host the annual corn show during the Organized Agriculture meetings January 7 to 9 at the College of Agriculture. Fire destroys A. B. Wilson grain elevator at Paul

A fire completely destroyed the A. B. Wilson grain elevator at Paul along with about 2000 bushels of corn. The cause remains undetermined. William Brower, unloading corn, alerted the Nebraska City fire department but the blaze had progressed too far to save the 12000 bushel capacity elevator.

Counties Share Gasoline Tax Receipts October

State Treasurer Stebbins distributed October gasoline tax receipts totaling 727973 dollars with 8741 dollars refunded. Douglas and Lancaster counties received 22516 and 13001 dollars respectively.
