Nickles from Lincoln, owner of the Viking hall building, visited Polk last Thursday with W. N. Hale. In Nova Scotia the Sober Island vote favored government liquor control 214 to 6. Polk Women’s Club entertained in the hotel dining room honoring the high school faculty and J. U. G. Club with over fifty guests. Progressive games and a two course lunch were served.
