The American Legion Auxiliary met November 8 at the Legion Club Rooms with Mrs. Oscar Jones presiding. A kitchen shower was planned for December to benefit the club room kitchen. Pastor Milford E. Olson officiated at the funeral of E. R. Child a former Nebraska Central College biology psychology and Spanish professor. Child died at 64 in Logan County Nebraska after a leave of absence and lighter teaching duties.
