Preparations are nearing completion for the Union Evangelistic Campaign at Polk Viking Auditorium December 1 to 12. Evening services run at 7 30 except Mondays, with Sunday services at 11 A M. Chicago evangelist C B Hedstrom will lead the meetings, his second Polk visit after last August. The sponsors call on business people and neighbors to attend and note further announcements in the paper.

Jury awards Richardson 1080 in suit over minor sons
A district court jury returned a verdict for Herbert Richardson of Holt County against Leo M. Warner for 1080. The suit sought 2000 for the scare of Warner’s minor sons living with the Richardsons since a 1930 divorce. The statute of limitations capped the award at 1200.
