Polk County Commissioners Adopt Road Map and Hire Architect
Polk County Nebraska commissioners met in regular session November 3 1919 approving District E map for federal aid road construction and requesting statements from the State Engineer. They approved tax refunds on 1872 73 74 assessments, and paid numerous general and road district claims including salaries, materials, and blacksmithing. they also named W J S Gernandt of Omaha as architect at five percent of building cost for the county courthouse.
