Local Visiting and Family Gatherings Highlight Weekend

Mr and Mrs Wendell Spaulding of Gresham and Miss Colleen Johnson of Stromsburg visited Mr and Mrs Lyle Johnson on Friday. Osceola hosts saw Mr and Mrs Ollie Johnson with Fred Johnson and Frieda Newman at Good Samaritan Home Sunday. Birthday party honored Jonita Baack with Cindy and Peggy Neeman as guests. Milton Anderson visited his daughter’s family in Knoke Town. Steve Saylor from Kearney returned home for the weekend to see Ed Saylor and Judy. Grand Island couple Mr and Mrs Larry Wedsted stayed with Ray Werner Saturday and Sunday. James Lindburg and Mary joined Lloyd Nordstedt family for Sunday dinner in Lincoln.

Airman Fredrick L. Wiens from Bradshaw graduated from Navigation School in Memphis after completing an aviation basics sequence. Stephan P. Boruchin of Thornton earned a second lieutenant commission at Lackland AFB and heads to Laredo AFB for pilot training. Airman Richard D. Proehl, Bradshaw native, finished basic training at Lackland and moves to Lowry for supply specialist schooling. Mr and Mrs George Scott moved to Stromsburg Saturday.
