16 Polk Seniors Set For Tonight Graduation
Commencement exercises for 16 Polk seniors take place tonight in the school auditorium. The program follows Baccalaureate Sunday, Class Night Tuesday, and Honors Convocation Wednesday. Thomas A. Barton of the Grand Island Veterans Hospital will speak. An all school picnic is planned for Friday at Polk Park with family potluck, plus games for all ages.

A 26 year old holder of a B A from Nebraska Wesleyan University she taught in Shickley last year and four years in grade school before earning her degree.
