Receipts total 9000 head with strong demand from packers and buyers. Best steers 9.75, top heifers 8.85. Cornfed steers 8.75 to 10.25, yearlings 8.50 to 9.50, feeding steers 8.00 to 8.50, stock cattle 7.75 to 8.50, cows 4.50 to 7.75. Mixed quality and trashy lots also listed.

Receipts of hogs at Omaha Monday totaled 4,500 head as all buyers operated early. Prices were strong to 10 percent above last week with trading 15 percent higher. Light weights sold around 7.90 to 8.00 dollars, mixed hogs 7.75 to 7.90, packing grades 7.35 to 7.75, and sows at about 7.00.

Receipts total 6000 head as Monday trade opens active and firm. Fed wooled lambs bring 8.00 to 8.50, feeder lambs scarce and steady around 7.50, aged ewes steady, shorn ewes 3.25, spring lambs 8.00 to 9.00, fed wooled 7.50 to 8.35, fed shorn 6.50 to 7.35, feeders medium to choice 6.75 to 7.50.
