Two Polk Tracksters Qualify For State Meet
At Seward district meet Polk performers Dob Neuhaus and Dick Sealey won their events and earned state bids for Lincoln. Sealey posted a 19 ft 1.14 in broad jump while Neuhaus cleared 11 ft 6 in. Other points came from Lindburg 38rd in 120 highs, Carlstrom 5th high jump, Saylor 5th tie in pole vault, and Polk relay fifth in the 880. Team members Stevens Stevens Wilshusen and Saylor helped Polk place sixth with 1712 points as Henderson Osceola also finished top six among 15 schools.
