The opening popcorn stand drew families with gas balloons and volunteers Harold Anderson Don Miller and Arnold Neuhaus busy for an hour. Polk teams beat Bradshaw 5-3 in 11 13 year olds then lost 9-0 in 14 16 behind Tom Mundt. Age 10 and under won 3-1 at Benedict. Polk girls sit at 2 1. Next Sunday Gresham boys visit Polk. Funds totaled 310.00 with contributions from Larson Flodman and Polk Progress.
