Paris reports by the Berlin press show war casualties and prisoners totals for the period up to April 30. A Hartford Conn Gibson family tally is highlighted with eight sons killed or wounded, and one member losing both arms, as a striking sacrifice record. Dr Slusser begins as manager of the Viking theatre in the village.
The Polk High senior class presents a three act comedy of mystery titled And Home Came Ted at Viking theatre Friday night May 28. The production seeks a large audience and promises entertaining performances from the student cast.
