Polk Boy Sentenced to Industrial School
Harold Davis aged 17 former Poll High School student was arraigned in County Judge W W Norton's court on breaking and entering and burglary charges and sentenced to the state industrial school at Kearney. He confessed to stealing from Sundberg and Son Hardware Polk Progress Cliff Branting and Eckdahl's Service Station after a series of missing items prompted a reward offer. Davis has lived with his grandmother since his mother's death about a year ago.

Rodine Sentenced to State Penitentiary in Forgery Case
Ansel Rodine of Polk pled guilty before Judge Hastings in Osceola district court and received a one year term in the state penitentiary for forgery. He was arrested last week and confined in the county jail at Osceola pending his sentence.
