Lincoln Police Deliver Quarantine News To Family Car
The C. C. Goodrich family from Stromsburg paused in Lincoln while en route to Wymore to visit relatives. After learning the Wymore relatives were quarantined for scarlet fever, Mr. Goodrich called Lincoln police who notified his family. A motorcycle officer located the Goodrich car on O street and delivered the message.

Polk Commercial Club Holds Last Meeting of Season
The Polk Commercial Club met Monday evening for its final session of the season. A chicken dinner with strawberry shortcake topped the event and several business women attended as guests. County Commissioner Harless spoke, and members were urged to present any future business to the Chairman or Secretary for the Executive Committee, which will meet through the summer. Meetings resume in the fall.
