The Polk County Nebraska board met in regular session on April 20 1954 with all members present. Claims were audited and allowed and warrants issued against various funds including the County General Fund.
The board reviewed salaries for county treasurer John I Anderson and deputies, assessors, clerks, and guards, plus payments to printers, insurers, gas and electric firms, grain co ops, and various suppliers. They discussed refund of a land road tax payment, and policies from Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co for county machinery and records.
