Polk Cindermen placed second at Benedict triangular meet with Utica first and Benedict third. Waldon Volz Kealiher and Derald Johnson led Polk with multiple firsts and high scores, Volz setting meet records in high jump and discus while Kealiher swept sprints and jumps. District meet at Columbus saw Volz score 29 points leading all individuals as Polk slipped to third with two events remaining.
