Pedestrian Struck By Car Injures Minnie Nicholson
Mrs Minnie Nicholson sustained two broken legs and facial and bodily lacerations when struck by car driven by Carl Steelquist at Main Street and the highway intersection last Wednesday evening. She was treated by Dr Williams and later moved to Aurora hospital in fair condition. Witnesses said the accident was unavoidable and Steelquist was absolved of blame.

Life of Fred Schwab Traced Across Continents and States
Fred Schwab born Arch Switzerland June 1856. He lived there until 1875 then moved to Kewanee Illinois and again to Switzerland 1880 81. He farmed in Polk County Nebraska from 1885 until 1913 then moved to Osceola. He died March 16 after staying with his daughter in Minden Nebraska. He married Louise Zang March 2 1886. four children Clara John Harry and Gladys survive with his widow burial in Osceola Cemetery following services at Osceola Methodist Church.
