Kindergarten and First Grade Circus Next Wednesday

The Kindergarten and First Grade circus will be held March 16 in the high school auditorium at 7 30 PM. Students practice clowns monkeys and other acts while chickens pox illness keeps some absent and plans for the show proceed.

Polk County Soil and Water District signs 170000 acres

Chester B. Ellis met with the Polk County Soil and Water Conservation District Board on February 23 to discuss new state and national association duties. Over 900 cooperators have signed cooperative agreements covering about 170 000 acres. New cooperators and planners from multiple towns were announced and technical staff attended to aid district development.
