Polk High Cubs win district tournament in double overtime

Polk High defeats Gresham 58 to 54 in a double overtime to advance to the state tournament in Lincoln. Steve Carlstrom led the Cubs with 18 points as Polk erased a third quarter deficit and pulled away in the second overtime with free throws and rebounding. The game featured late 4th quarter momentum shifts and clutch scoring from Darwin Neuhaus Rayl Lindgren and Mike Lindburg.
