Polk Citizens Handful Attend Local Government Caucus
In Polk County a sparsely attended caucus drew only about 30 participants. Everett Green presided as chairman and Eldor Johnson as secretary as delegates were chosen to appear on the ballot. Village caucus chose Leo Wurtz, Chas Peterson, Merle Stromberg and Vern Jones for two seats with vacancy committees named for further nominees.
