Golden wedding anniversary celebrated at Benedict
More than two hundred relatives and friends gathered Sunday June 7 to felicitate the couple on their sixtieth anniversary. Present were family members from York Albuquerque Fremont Milwaukee Los Angeles Lyons and Ly ons Nebraska. The event featured a decorated cake served by Mrs. Leonard Berquist and a large gift table overseen by Mrs. Donald Wolfe. The Renquists have lived on the same farm since their marriage June 4 1903.

Three From Polk Join Gallon Club at Last Bloodmobile Visit
One hundred forty eight pints were collected at Polk in the last blood mobil visit with 171 donors processed. Joining the gallon club were Mrs. Oscar Jonas Arnold Neuhaus and Don Dahlin plus Rolland K. Johnson, Stromsburg. The Red Cross thanked nurses hostesses waitresses and loading crew for cooperation.
