Clothing Burned In Polk Fire Damages Home
Mr and Mrs Floyd Lyle of Polk lost most clothing and part of their furniture Sunday evening when a fire started in a clothes closet. The Polk Fire Department arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze with most damage from smoke and water. Cause is undetermined but may involve combustion of oily clothes. insured property, though Mr Lyle had no insurance on personal effects. Furniture and clothing damage estimated at 200 dollars.
