Thirty years ago May 29 1919 records August Miller and Martin Jones leaving by auto for Julesburg Colp to inspect land. Miss Hannah Sundberg’s bridal shower honors her upcoming June 4 marriage to Clarence Bodine. Miss Clara Reynolds arrives in New York from the 89th Division transport. she is a Red Cross nurse from Fairfield, Polk, who served near the front in France. Arvid Magnuson joins Farmers Grain Association starting June 1, and Paul Strand helps in the family lumber yard.

John Ekstrom, 12, injured at a Clarks ball game last Saturday.
