The High School Alumni banquet celebrated its 25th anniversary with over 200 attendees in the redecorated auditorium. Classes 1914 1919 1929 1939 were honored, with members present from across Nebraska and beyond. Carl W. Jones 1914 gave the principal address on Kentucky youth education as the Thirty Niners initiated the program.

Farm Debt Adjustment Boosts Tax Payments
Polk county farm debt adjustment committee with the Farm Security Administration has since October 1 last year collected 1688.86 in back taxes for County Treasurer LeRoy Smith. Forty seven debt burdened farmers and creditors have reduced indebtedness by 17296.49 through extended deadlines lower interest and debt adjustments.

More than 1 000 homemakers from across Nebraska will gather in Fremont June 8 to 10 for the state convention of the Nebraska Council of Home Demonstration Clubs.
