Polking Around and Sign-haunted Ramblings of a Small-Town Page
A lighthearted column recalls near misses and oddities from daily life. It notes a hazardous highway sign near Wahoo, lists a dozen quirky hazard moments from recent activities, mentions local cafe stops, a coffee habit, and a playful tale of signs and mischief including Ice Cubes For Rent and Imported European Antiques. It ends with musings on a linotype, a farmer’s cold hands, and a playful moon story.
