Musical Linguist Brothers bring Midwest accordions to church

Evangelical Free Church announces July 17 morning worship with the Musical Linguist Brothers from Minnesota. The duo duo families perform with accordion guitar and banjo plus vocal arrangements during the full service. They appear at Polk Bible Camp July 18 to 31. Mrs Chauncey Gustafson and Mrs Ruth Bills visited Oscar Anderson home.

Natalie Hahn a University of Nebraska senior interns at Lincoln the State Game Commission writing Nebraskaland news releases and presenting slides. She recently interviewed movie star Carlton Heston during his Nebraska tour. Mr and Mrs Gerald King and Jeffrey of Oxford joined Fourth of July weekend visitors in the Nelson King home.

Fellowship Supper Welcomes Patten Family at Polk Methodist

A church fellowship supper at Polk Methodist parlors welcomed Rev. and Mrs. Willis Patten and family. The carry-in meal followed by a short program and a grocery shower for the Patten family. Mrs. Nettie Carlson and others attended a Young Swedish Singers concert in Stromsburg last Thursday.
