Mr and Mrs Louie Blase visited Mr Otto Rochlitz in Central City. Mrs Richard Gustafson hosted a birthday coffee party with multiple Central City guests. The Gustafsons hosted 4th of July guests and Stephen Gustafsons entertained at Stromsburg. The group also notes lunch guests and a 27th wedding anniversary celebration in Grand Island. Patty Funk from New York visited with Mrs John Myers and accompanied her to North Platte for a weekend at the James Dodson home.

Natalie Hahn Delivers Talks on New Zealand Experience

Natalie Hahn, an IFYE student, shared insights from six months in New Zealand. She spoke at a Metho dist Church social in St Paul, to a WSCS group in Stromsburg, the Evangelical Free church Fellowship men’s group in Polk, and on KAWL at York.

Burneys Return From 16 Day Pacific Northwest Trip

Mr and Mrs Dwight Burney returned Sunday from a 16 day tour of the Pacific Northwest and Canadian Rockies. Highlights included Lake Louise, the Ice Fields, Vancouver, Victoria, and visits to over a dozen national parks in the U S and Canada. They rode ferries, a gondola to 7000 feet, saw the Space Needle and toured the 1962 World Fair site. In Seattle they stayed with Mr and Mrs Donald Hahn, a former Polk resident. Lincoln guests share Fourth of July dinner in Stromsburg

Mr and Mrs Dean Weimer and Mr and Mrs H L Graham of Lincoln visited Rudolph Gustafson on Sunday afternoon. Patty Funk of New York City Steve and Chris Funk of Lincoln and Mrs Vivian Funk attended the Fourth of July dinner in the Earl Burke home at Stromsburg.
