Pollution and REAP Aid for Farm Pollution Control
Eugene V. Sterup explains pollution from farming can be invisible and buildup occurs slowly. A Polk County ASCS leaflet describes REAP cost sharing for soil, water, woodland and wildlife conservation, with steps for farmers to review operations, consult the ASCS office, file cost share requests, and obtain final approval from the County ASC Committee. The leaflet is available in Polk County and a speaker can be provided for groups. Mr and Mrs Donald Haggert were supper guests in the P W Aker home Monday evening.
