Live Stock Prices At South Omaha Market

At Union Stock Yards on Tuesday 8,000 cattle arrived as trade held strong for better grades. Top steers and yearlings hit 15.75, a new high, with numerous classes moving steadily from prime to common grades. Cattle prices ranged from reminders of 15.75 for top steers to 7.50 for cutters and 14.00 for veal, reflecting broad demand across beef and feeder categories.

Hog Market Opens Strong Then Stirs Amid Price Rise

Under liberal receipts around 92 000 head the hog trade opened with glow and as much as the lower but later the market became active at prices as good as yesterday. Top was 10.50 and bulk sold at 10.15 to 10.75.

Strong Demand Lifts Lamb Prices at Sale

About 6,000 head sold with high demand as prices rose up to 25e. Western lambs top at 14.50, aged sheep and feeders strong. Fat lambs ranged 14.00 to 14.50 with various grades listed. feeder lambs mainly 11.50 to 13.35. ewes mostly 4.50 to 6.50, with gull and canner at 2.00 to 4.50.
