Lloyd Kroger was chosen to head the Polk Commercial Club for the coming year at a monthly meeting after a Corner Cafe dinner. Dean Myers will be Vice President and Ralph Kahler Secretary-Treasurer, replacing Merle Stromberg Arnold Neuhaus and Vern Jones. The group planned band activities, fire department support, and a March of Dimes Home Talent Show committee. Forty members attended.

Wayne Creech Arrives in Germany with 1st Infantry Division
