Local Notes From January 18 1923 Park News

Birthday Celebration and Local Club Meeting Notes

Rev and Mrs Westlund and Dorothy and Rachel toured to Omaha last week to celebrate a 72nd birthday. The 20th Century Club met at Mrs Manley Fishers home with Mrs Merchant in charge of the lesson and luncheon served afterward. Mr and Mrs Van Bush announce the birth of a daughter Addie Vandaline on January 11. Mrs George Quick and son left for Rochester Minnesota for medical treatment with George Quick accompanying them to Sioux City.

The High School Declamatory group presented Sparkin on Monday January 17 at the Stromsburg Goldenrod Conference. Performers included Laura Johnson Margaret Pickrel Thais Belle Lackey and Billy Allison. Lloyd Burnworth underwent an operation Tuesday at the Lutheran hospital in York.
