Mr and Mrs Rober V Gustafson of Lincoln announce the engagement of their daughter Pamela Sue Gustafson to Brent L Jackman of Lincoln. Pamela, granddaughter of the late Robert Gustafson and Olga Gustafson, studies at the University of Nebraska and graduates in May with a degree in Human Development and Elementary Education. Brent will graduate in May with a Physical Education degree. A late July or early August wedding is planned.

Nicole Lee born December 5 to Mr and Mrs Dennis Widga of Ankeny Iowa with Lloyd Widga and Joe Perrella as grandparents.
Senior Citizens meet at 2:00 p.m. in the Legion Hall on January 7 for their annual bingo party.

The Country Woman's Club met at Erma Adelson’s home on Thursday December 18 with a brief business session followed by program by Edna Steenbock and Jo Osberg. Adelson played a piano solo and Steenbock read two Christmas poems. A gift exchange and lunch were enjoyed.
Derick Lynn Johnson was baptised at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday December 28. His parents are Mr and Mrs Dennis Johnson. Frank and Linda Morve were sponsors at the baptism.
Michael Flodman was among 120 graduates at Southeast Community College Milford on December 17 1975 earning Manufacturing Engineering Technology with distinction. Dinner celebrations followed at a York cafe hosted by Mr and Mrs Wayland Flodman with many relatives present. he will begin work as assistant engineer at Sargent Pipe Company in Broken Bow on January 5 6.
The United Methodist Church hosts the first in a series of Sunday Salad and Sandwich suppers on January 4 at 6:00 PM. The program titled Our Heritage invites attendees to share ancestral origins, travel stories, family recipes, or photos, with speakers from Dwight Burney, Glenn Hill, Irvin Anderson, Gaylord Stevens, Lyle Johnson, and Ross Tarr.
Trinity Lutheran Church held a Sunday School Christmas program at 6 30 p m on Christmas Eve with an overflowing crowd. The women's choir performed many Christmas songs and carols. Guests included Darrell Scherer and family of Gibbon and Ted Pfeifer and family of Lincoln visiting during the holiday.
