Legion Auxiliary Meeting at Wall Tuesday Afternoon
The Legion Auxiliary gathered at the Wall Tuesday afternoon with hostesses Mesdames Orlie Miller Richard Widga Arthur Gustafson and Robert Gustafson. A group of ladies surprised Mrs Mervin Shenk on her birthday anniversary Friday. Albert Sundberg with Chap Whittemore traveled to Lincoln last Saturday to bring Mrs Whittemore home from the hospital. Mrs Kathe Holmes and her sister Mae Coleman of Arcadia visited Tuesday dinner with Mr and Mrs Paul Holmes and family. Mr and Mrs Clarence Bolton and family visited Wednesday evening with Mr and Mrs Donald Theuquist and family.

Fred and Owen Bedient visited Toenday at their grandparents home in Pwine Nebraska. Many relatives attended gatherings in Polk Moesdas afternoon and Kansas City. A collision near Greeley caused damage but no injuries. Funeral services were held for Lena Fenster in Hampton and for Mrs Sam Tall in York.
