Richard August Ferdinand Kohtz born near Trenton Nebraska September 12 1890 died January 27 after a heart attack aged 63 years 4 months and 15 days. Survived by widow Hulda Opfer four sons Harold Ray Stanley Ardean one son Marvin preceded him in death 14 grandchildren three brothers Henry Arthur Alfred. Funeral at Zion Lutheran Hampton with choir songs and pallbearers Don Schmidt Otto Mowitz Art Klute Ernest Driewer Paul Sagehorn L T Werth.

Polk Enters District Tourney At Monroe
Coach Art Phillips informed the district office Monday that Polk will face Silver Creek in the first round of the district tournament at Monroe. The event runs February 22 to 25 with Bruce Cowgill as director. Ten teams entered Belgrade seeded first Polk second. others include Duncan, Bellwood, Lindsay Holy Family, Humphrey, Creston, Monroe, Shelby.
