Last Thursday the Country Women’s Club gathered at Mrs Calmer Johnson’s residence with Mrs Bob Steenbock and Mrs Adolph Forss as assisting hostesses. After the business portion, Mrs Richard Sealey and Mrs Clem Meerkatz led an engaging program. a duet by Mrs Harvey Sundberg and Mrs Willard Adelson and a reading by Mrs Glenn Hill complemented a delicious luncheon.

Obituary notes Mrs. Lundstrom who died January 24 1950 at home after a long life in Stromsburg and Swede Home. Born in Sweden she immigrated in 1887 married Carl August Lundstrom in 1890 and raised four children Ada Reuben Esther and Martin. She was active in Calvary Lutheran Church and valued her Bible and religious reading. She leaves four children two grandchildren a sister in Lincoln and relatives.
