Arborville Christmas Gatherings Spread Across Many Families
Numerous local families and relatives shared Christmas meals and visits across Arborville and nearby towns. Guests included the Perkinses of Grand Island, the Jankys, Crammers, Shockeys, and Kennels, with dinners and oyster suppers in homes from Grand Island to York and Bellwood. Santa Claus distributed gifts at the Baack and Jones gatherings as kin from Lincoln, Omaha, and Sioux City joined in holiday celebrations.
