Sunday School Presents Characters of Christmas Speak
The Evangelical Free Church Sunday School Department staged a Christmas program on Sunday evening December 20 titled The Characters of Christmas Speak. Narrators were Donna Bodine David Flodman and Steve Flodman. Children sang and spoke dialogue under the direction of Mrs Roland Bodine with a program committee help. Sunday visitors in the Edward Saylor home included the Bill Magnuson family of Central City.

1965 Motor Vehicle Plates Go On Sale Jan 4
County Treasurer announces 1965 license plates go on sale Monday January 4 at the treasurer’s office. Fees remain 8.50 for cars with a truck rate on a sliding scale. Tax statements and registration certificates must be presented to purchase. Mail orders require a tax statement, registration certificate and payment plus 35 cents postage. New residents receiving 1965 statements will report to the assessor with 1964 certificates. A 1965 tax statement will be prepared for new pirates.

Bedients celebrated 50th wedding anniversary with open house
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bedient marked their 50th anniversary Sunday at the Methodist Church with an open house in gold and white decor.
