Father Flanagain leads the world famous Boy's Town Choir in a Christmas program sponsored by the Fifth Army. The fifty voice chorus, directed by Rev Francis Schmitt, performs on KFOR and KOLN from Lincoln Nebraska on Christmas Day. County AAA announces corn loan period and terms

The Commodity Credit Corporation will offer loans on the 1947 corn crop from December 1, 1947 to June 30, 1948. Loans require shelled corn under 13.5 percent moisture and priced at 1.28 per bushel for grade No 2 or better. Moisture limits and fees apply. interest at 3 percent. County AAA offices will shift to a 400 hour five day work week from January 1, 1948, with Saturdays and holidays closed.

The International farm machinery dealer showcased a modern facility with a full parts department and a spacious service shop while free lunch prizes and a movie entertained guests.
