Polk Cubs State Winning Streak Continues in 53-38 Win
Polk defense held Genoa star Jerry Gdowski to one point while Ken Westring led the Oriole offense with 10 points. Gary Sagehorn topped the Little Cubs with 14 as Polk built a 9-9 first quarter tie into a 53-38 victory. Polk improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in Goldenrod Conference with a two week break ahead of a January 3 test against Bradshaw. The team remains undefeated at home in its fifth year in the new gym.
