Meta Hopp Dies at 65 Polk County Resident
Meta Hopp 65 died at her Polk County home Saturday evening after a yearlong illness. She was born on the farm she lived on, daughter of John and Louise Hopp, and belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church near Polk. Survived by sisters Helene Collett of Orange California and Selma Hopp, brother Henry, and two nephews. Services held at Immanuel Lutheran Church Tuesday December 17 at 2 p.m. with Rev Hu officiating.

The Polk High Cubs battled past Silver Creek 67 to 60 at Silver Creek. Polk students from seven through twelfth grade hosted the annual Mothers Tea with forty guests attending.
