Robbery at Wall's Grocery in Hampton

Wall's Grocery in Hampton was robbed at noon last Friday by two young men from Pennsylvania, 16 and 18. They threatened clerk Mrs Leslie Christiansen and customer Mrs Meta Hahn, were trapped in an old vault door, cut phone lines, and fled as police recovered cash, checks, and merchandise later. Police say the suspects admitted seven robberies in the region.

Shower Honors Bride-to-be Barbara Mayer in Ravenna

Miss Barbara Mayer of Ravenna was honored at a December 7 miscellaneous bridal shower at Polk Methodist Church hosted by Mrs. Joan Matthes and Mrs. Judy Jones.
